Okay, so things didn't calm down over the holidays...
I'm now in the middle of finals, and am procrasinating doing any of my Mechanics of Solids revision.

 Well, I suppose I ought to actually post something here!
I'm a bit busy at the moment - last week of term at uni, and a major report due in two days that I still haven't started... this journal may get a bit more use once the holidays kick off properly!
Anyway, a bit about me - I'm a third year civil, structural and environmental engineering student at Cambridge. I teach, conduct and sing with a gospel choir, do kickboxing, play netball, and am planning to join the army - so I'm an interesting mix!
I read far too much fanfiction - that's my main reason to have a LJ account - to keep track of all the awesome writers out there! I've read and written Harry Potter fanfiction for years, but have branched out more recently, particularly into Jane Austen, the OC, Smallville, Lois and Clark, Stardust and Alex Rider fandoms - again, a slightly eclectic mix!
Anyway, if I've friended you, it's probably because I'm a fan of your writing - I'll get round to reviewing soon, but for now, I really ought to actually start that report!
